OMGZilla: The Book of Genesis

When he was appointed Poet Laureate in 1991, Joseph Brodsky proposed placing poetry anthologies in every motel room drawer next to a bible, which was (is?) the practice. With Sybilia Grogan (and as Maude Spekes) I edited OMGZilla: The Book of Genesis, which replaces the word God with Godzilla with sacrilicious original illustrations by John Bergdahl. We sent copies to motels in NY/NJ inspired by Brodsky’s idea so check the drawer next time.
